Contract Duration: 17 Months

Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (CST)

Language Requirement: Bilingual (Korean) preferred

Pay: $31.83

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Windows System Engineer to provide technical support and administration for Windows server environments in a multi-platform infrastructure. This role involves working across on-premise and virtual environments, ensuring system stability, performance, and security while supporting both operational and project-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide system administration and technical support for Windows Server environments across on-premise, physical, and virtual platforms (VMware, Citrix, Horizon)
  • Offer guidance on Windows OS architecture and best practices
  • Support and maintain current Windows Server versions, including system analysis and configuration
  • Provide consulting, troubleshooting, and technical resolution for application development and system interfaces
  • Document system configurations, updates, and technical changes; share knowledge with team members
  • Support urgent issues, including after-hours and weekend cases as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with VMware VCF and Windows Server environments
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills (required)
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Active Directory Services
    • DNS
    • Group Policy Management
    • Domain Replication
    • Server Manager
  • Experience with Windows clustering and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to research and resolve complex issues independently
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Associate Degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with backup solutions
  • Experience with storage systems
  • Experience working with Dell and HP servers, including iDRAC and iLO
